Introduction: Begin Again Co. is committed to ensuring the privacy and security of our users' personal data. As a result, we provide users with the ability to delete their accounts and all associated platform data. This document outlines the formal and instructive steps to be followed for users who wish to delete their accounts and associated data.

Deleting Account through Settings:

a. Log in to your account: Access the platform using your registered email address (or username) and password.

b. Navigate to the Settings menu: Once logged in, click on the Settings option located in the main menu or user profile section.

c. Initiate account deletion: In the Settings menu, locate and click on the "Delete Account" option. This action will prompt a confirmation message, asking if you are sure about your decision to delete your account and all associated data.

d. Confirm account deletion: To proceed with the deletion, click on the "Yes, Delete My Account" button. Your account and all of its platform data will be automatically removed. Please note that this action is irreversible, and you will not be able to retrieve any of your account data once deleted.

Deleting Account via Email Request:

If you have lost access to your account and are unable to delete your account through the Settings menu, you may request account deletion by sending an email to Begin Again Co.

a. Compose an email: Create a new email addressed to [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request."

b. Provide account information: In the body of the email, include the following details to help us identify your account:

• Registered email address (or username)
• Full name
• Date of account creation (if known)
• Any additional information that may help us verify your identity

c. Proof of ownership: Attach a copy of a valid government-issued identification (e.g., driver's license, passport) to the email to prove your ownership of the account. Please ensure that your full name and date of birth are clearly visible. You may redact any sensitive information not required for the verification process.

d. Send the email: Once you have included all necessary information and attached your identification, send the email to [email protected].

e. Verification and account deletion: Upon receiving your request, our team will review the provided information and verify your identity. If the verification is successful, we will proceed with the account deletion process and confirm the completion of the request via email.
